Deer

Every where you go in Utah, you are surrounded by mountains! It's awesome. We took a drive up to a local park the other day. There was a pond there and a bunch of geese and ducks. It was fun watching them chase each other when one got a big chunk of bread. On the drive home, we had to stop in the middle of the road to let the deer cross. There were two of them, then three, then four. They were so elegant and graceful! I wanted so badly to reach out and touch them. I'm sure that if I had had something to feed them, they would have come up to the car. Then we saw four more just standing there in the grass looking at us. We stared at each other for a while before they all left. 20 feet from me!! What an incredible creature the Lord has created! I love it here! I may have to find a way to move out this way!
