My daughter participated in her first talent show today.
She played a few songs on her trumpet and a friend played the clarinet with her. She also did a duet with her best friend. They worked on it for weeks, every day after school. They came up with everything on their own as far as the dancing, their outfits, who sang which part, etc. I'm so impressed. If any of you know her very well, you would know that this is huge! Six months ago, she never would have even dreamed of being up in front of people and performing like this. She has changed so drastically and in a good way.
She is growing up so fast. She is really enjoying being a 'tween'. She has finally found a best friend that fits her so well and it has really helped her. Everyone needs a good friend especially at this age.
I'm so proud of her for putting herself out there and for just being a really good girl. She is my pride and joy. I couldn't ask for a better daughter.

That's so good that her anxiety level gone down.
Every mother needs at least one daughter who will be her best friend for life!
