Thursday we went to the museum. We didn't do a whole lot there but since we have a membership, we can go as often as we like. We visited the Hall of Life first which was fun and then we went to the Planetarium. We saw 'Black Holes'. It was very fascinating! There were some parts in it that kind of made me sick to my stomach and dizzy. Adam got a little dizzy too but mostly he was scared and closed his eyes for awhile. Sarah was a little bored. She's just not in to space, planets or any science really. Christopher loved it. He wants to be an Astronaut when he grows up. He wants his room decorated in Space paraphernalia etc. He knows more about how it all works than I do. I enjoyed it too. Now that I'm all grown up, I appreciate learning a lot more. I couldn't get any pictures of the Planetarium, they're not allowed. So this will have to do.
After the Planetarium, we went down the street to what my kids call the castle park. It's a great big park with lots of huge trees. It also has a huge playground that's all made of wood. They call it the castle park because it has these little areas where you can go down the stairs and it seems as though you are underground in a dungeon. It's a very cool park. I didn't take the best pictures of it, but these will have to do.
After playing in on the playground we had lunch and were accosted by a flock of geese. We mistakenly threw some crackers out to the one that came near and within ten minutes, there were tons of them. They were not shy. They came right up and took the food out of our hands. I was worried that they might snatch the whole bag of crackers from me. They were very cute and from the pictures you can tell they were right up on our blanket.

Looks like fun!
Eric loved the planetarium when we went there for his field trip. He didn't want to go to anything else.
Looks like a fun day! I have some free admission tickets to the museum and I really need to take the kids. I think it would be a blast.
