Well, I hate to copy, but I, too, like the idea of writing the things I am thankful for. Fitting month, don't you think? Who doesn't need to be more grateful?
I am very thankful for a bishop who knows exactly what I need to hear. I was talking to him yesterday about how stressed and frustrated I was about where I was in life and he said to me (I'm paraphrasing) -
If your marriage is better than it was last year, if you are closer to God than you were last year, then you are right where you should be. Be grateful that you struggle because it is the struggles we have that get us where we need to be.
Profound don't you think? Of all the things that have happened in my life, terrigle things that I wish had not happened, how can I not be grateful. They have led me to this point, and for once I feel like I have a friend in the Lord. Thank you Heavenly Father

I agree! Wait-why did you say November was a fitting month?
Though we tend to create lots of unnecessary suffering and struggles for ourselves, its the challenges we experience that seem to give us the best benefit - but only if we are grateful, and accept the lessons they bring us. :)
I love our bishop! He is such an inspired man.
So, who are you copying?
Hey, Melissa! I think you had asked me for my blog link... andnat3.blogspot.com
