36 Awesome things

I took this idea from someone else. It sounded like a good way to start the day since my kids are off school today and have been fighting all morning.

1. Needing nail clippers and a file and finding them exactly where they should be
2. Finding the outfit you wanted to wear clean and hanging up without wrinkles
3. Finding poptarts to feed the kids in the morning when you're exhausted
4. Book fairs at school
5. Parent teacher conferences when everything that is said is positive
6. Leftovers
7. Waking up and not feeling overwhelmed for a change
8. Newborn babies
9. Sitting on a mattress while sliding down the stairs
10. Playing keep away on the stairs with the kids (I love my stairs)
11. Having lush, green grass to walk barefoot on
12. Finding exactly what you want at a thrift store
13. Having the money for the outrageously expensive school pictures
14. Asian food
15. A fantasic massage
16. Receiving a letter in the mail or email that is personal
17. Morning scripture study with the kids
18. Hot cocoa, popcorn and a movie on a cold day
19. My husband taking the day off from work
20. Nooners - *wink*
21. Free workshops at Lowe's and Home Depot
22. Organization
23. Rearranging furniture
24. My new vacuum
25. Board games
26. Get togethers with good friends or family
27. Christmas
28. Personal revelations
29. The feeling that you are right with God
30. Netflix
31. Taking a walk or jog in the quiet of the morning
32. Hot tubs
33. Being in love
34. Kittens
35. Hanging out with my mom and my sister
36. Good health

Love your list, Melissa. I am grateful for all of those things, too, with one BIG exception: Asian food. Gag me with a spoon!
