Great Day!

What a great day! My mother is the most awesome mother and grandmother! She thinks of everything. She woke me up with a text today that said...'Wake up. Wake up.' Then another text...'R U AWAKE YET' then another...'Bring swim suits, towels and dry clothes and come early so we can go to the carnival' She planned out a whole day for my family and my siblings.
Well the carnival turned out to be a circus and a very expensive one at that, so she took us to the theater to see Ice Age part 3. She had popcorn and girl scout cookies and bottles of water ready for us. (shhhh, don't tell the theater). Then on to her house where she had the sprinkler set up. We weren't allowed to eat until we were wet.
She cooked pork chops, potatoes, biscuits and green beans.
After we ate, we all played croquet. I don't know if anyone else plays the way we do, but the course is not an easy one. We set the peg thingys in rock piles and behind bricks, under bushes etc. Then as the game progresses more and more rules seem to be added. It's really just a justification of cheating but whatever...
Of course my brother won (he's the biggest cheater of them all) and I came in second. No one else really counts...After the game, more sprinklers and a couple of hours of religious talk. Philosophising, persuasion, bantering etc. Lots of fun.
I love my family! They are the best!!!! Thank God for forever families!
